The Title Talk

BRAZEN Championship: Ryan Murdock promised to be a fighting champion on top of BRAZEN and that’s what he’s been doing since winning the gold! But has he met his match in Cannonball Dunson? Both men WRECKED one another but after Murdock hit a flying shoulder tackle to Dunson through the ringside barricade, the two KEPT ON HOSSING right into the crowd, resulting in a no contest! DEFSec had to break things up, but BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment has already signed the rematch for the March Double Shot, this time in a No DQ, No Countout match!

BRAZEN Tag Team Titles: Once again, the trio of Mad Rhymes keeps their hold on the BRAZEN Tag Team Titles, thanks to “Dirty” Surrey Slate at ringside! In a three-way tag team match against former champions The Dasher Sibs being given a rematch as well as the ¡SupaLuchas! Team of Misil and Leyenda de Ocho! This match was WILD! The BRAZEN Faithful were on their feet for everything, but it came down to right place, right time when Leyenda de Ocho hit the Actualizer corkscrew quebrada on Tommy Dasher, only for Nathan Cross to throw him out of the ring! Surrey Slate and George Othello kept the other participants at bay allowing Nathan Cross to hit the Crossover on Tommy to keep the titles! Next month, ¡SupaLuchas! Have been given one last chance next month! After a DQ win last month and tonight, the battle between Mad Rhymes and ¡SupaLuchas! Must end!

BRAZEN Women’s Championship: The main roster took center stage for the Night One main event when M4NTRA’s “Tank Girl” Evan Vandegaar defended the title against former champion and LET member, Ms. Massacre! This match was a SLUGFEST! Massacre brought the fight, but Tank Girl gutted it out! After the referee was knocked down, Archer Silver and High Flyer tried to interfere, but DEC4L and Nathan Eye fought back, allowing Tank Girl to land The Blond Bombshell to retain in a hectic main event! While on the main roster, Eva Vandegaar has promised that she will fulfill all obligations to defend the BRAZEN Women’s Championship… even against a challenger as dangerous as TRAIN Zanshu coming up!

BRAZEN Onslaught Championship: “Big Mad” Mads Larssen is successful not only in the courtroom, but also in the ring! The Familia’s Tall Family Lawyer took on the former two-time BRAZEN Star Cup champion, Edgar! While the Onslaught division may not be his strong suit, the BRAZEN Faithful supported the Master of Puppets as he gutted out a brutal mauling from the lawyer! Edgar chipped away at the big man’s legs and got him down to the canvas long enough to hit Cut The Strings (straitjacket swinging neckbreeaker) but size allowed the big man to get a foot on the ropes to save himself! A second attempt was his undoing as a surprise headbutt allowed Big Mads to get the Big Win with the Erroneous Conclusion spear! After the match, the former champion Aiden Harlow challenged Big Mad to a rematch. Larssen accepted and set the match up for the March Double Shot!

BRAZEN Star Cup: The hot young prospect, K-Tez, wrestled Nick “Lotto” Otto to a draw for the BRAZEN Star Cup after both men were tied 1-1 a piece! It was early on that K-Tez scored the first fall within two minutes utilizing the Cyclone Crash neckbreaker! After that, Otto had The Nick Otto Trust at ringside watching his back! K-Tez had to fight through crazy amounts of interference from the group, but Otto would steal a pin when K-Tez tried to suplex him back into the ring, only for Tate Newell to grab his leg and hold down for the pin! Otto ran out the clock for the remaining time and retained on a draw! When K-Tez took the microphone and demanded a rematch, he was assaulted by Otto and the Trust! Otto respectfully declined his challenge and called it a successful defense! This issue appears to be far from over!

SuperDEFScoops:

BRAZEN picked up three new stars who started with the company effective February 15th and made their debuts!

The Nor’easters - The incredible team of Owen and Jacob Hawthorne racked up their first big win over OnlyFlips! As their name would lend you to believe, they hail from the Northeast United States! Not only that, but they picked up a real following with the female fans in attendance! After scoring the win with a move called Uncivil Disobedience, both men hit the podium and put the tag team division on notice by noting a storm was coming their way!

Neon Nozaki - 6’2” and 290 pounds, the beastly half-American, half-Japanese Jake Nozaki aka Neon Nozaki! Spending the past three years honing his craft both on the American and Japanese independent scenes participating in hardcore and deathmatch-style brawls, the self-proclaimed Lord of the Lighttubes brings his unique brand of violence to BRAZEN! Whether cheered or booed, Neon has promised to shine brighter than anyone else when it comes to lighting up the ring!
