TITLE TALK

BRAZEN Championship: WHAT AN END TO THE SHOW! The 6’7” amateur standout Ryan Murdock! The 7’3” Rowzilla! COLLIDING LIKE BULLS! It was just over ten minutes, but BRAZEN Studios was ELECTRIC for the two big damn monsters! The fight ended in a double countout, turning to a HUGE fight after the bell! It took DEFSec AND BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment to get involved, but that wasn’t even enough! During the fight, Ryan Murdock tried to take out Rowzilla with the Route 202 kick and Rowzilla moved, but Cappy didn’t!

BRAZEN Tag Team Championships: Bash 4 Cash had a plan and that was to bring the gold to the Nick Otto Trust. Instead? Old rivals, The Dasher Sibs, had plans of their own! Bash 4 Cash came in hot to the match with Holt and Byrd holding most of the offense! But a HUGE tope suicida from Tommy Dasher took out both of Nick Otto’s personal muscle late in the match! Dasher took over and almost got the win off one rolling elbow to Byrd, but Holt got his partner’s foot on the ropes! Maggie got the tag late and another rolling elbow lead to the mouse trap pin! The Escape Plan was a success! And next show, contender were already announced when the team of Sainted by The Storm won the right to challenge for the titles they recently lost! The match is already set for the next Double Shot and should be a great one!

BRAZEN Onslaught Championship: The train-obsessed fan favorite, RAILHEAD, remained undefeated up to this point, but in the end of things, it was “The Hound” Aiden Harlow to pull it out in the clutch once again! One of DEFIANCE’s best technical wrestlers got taken down to the mat multiple times by the CRAZY but strong power from RAILHEAD! The Big Boi’s Belt looked like it might have gone back into the hands of a Big Boi, but Harlow pulled it out, reversing a powerbomb attempt into a tight jackknife pin for the win! Harlow shook hands with the fan favorite after the match! Harlow challenged any and all comers to step forward to try and take the title from him!

BRAZEN Star Cup: As promised, “BRAZEN Supersenior” Butcher Victorious was a fighting champion for the BRAZEN Star Cup when he took on the former champion Aleczander The Great! Aleczander tried to do everything he could to take the Cup back including getting Butcher counted out for the first fall of the match! Butcher would come back with the Burns Beater headlock takeover for one fall! The last one came within seconds to spare when Aleczander tried a spinebuster, only for Butch Vic to play his greatest hit… you know, Butch Vic’s Greatest Hit headlock driver for the win! And what’s more, Butcher has promised another open challenge on the post-Acts episode of UNCUT this week!

BRAZEN Women’s Championship: The BUH-RUH-TAL Duchess Vaughn’s title run is off to a GREAT start! She was taken to her limit by the popular powerhouse, "Tank Girl" Eva Vandegaar! She did everything she could to get the title back including hitting her Blond Bombshell emerald fusion finisher, but Duchess would get a foot on the rope to save herself and then make it to the floor! After raking the eyes outside the ring, Vaughn followed with the Garrison Lock! Try as she might, Vandegaar wouldn’t tap, but eventually would pass out due to the pain and she won the match! No challengers came forward right away, but Vaughn promised that they would keep the title for as long as they wanted!

SuperDEFScoops

HERE ARE YOUR SCOOPSKIS FOR THIS LATEST SHOW!

--Because of accidentally striking Capital Punishment during the big fight at the end of the show, Ryan Murdock has been suspended for the next Double Shot! When we tried to get a word with Murdock after the show, he said nothing and left the Wrestleplex without explanation! Rowzilla immediately went to BRAZEN management to have the decision overturned to get a rematch because the people demand it, but the request was denied! We’ll have to see how things turn out!

--A couple VERY interesting new names made their debuts in BRAZEN! If that last name gets you, you’re right! Coby and Liam, younger brothers to BRAZEN alum Archer Silver, showed off some great grappling skills after spending a year abroad in Japan for the Kyoto Pro promotion! Finishing off OnlyFlips in a few minutes with cross armbreakers locked on at the same time! After the match, the brothers took to the podium and told people they were Brothers In Armbars!

--BRAZEN’s newest addition to the women’s division, Gabi Ke’ala, also spent a year traveling overseas with Brothers in Armbars! Combining a very unique kickboxing and gymnastics background, Gabi won the crowd over quick! She took the fight to Liz Icarus, but managed to pull off an amazing handspring enzuigiri kick followed by a flashy buzzsaw kick called Lumina to win the match!

--Elsewhere in the Women’s Division, another late teen prodigy, Ms. Massacre rebounded from her Texas Death Match loss one month earlier to Duchess Vaughn with a win in just over three minutes! After the match, she gestured that she was coming back for the BRAZEN Woman’s Title and that the champion better have their head on a swivel!

--Could a team of super-luchas have formed? That’s what The Faithful are saying by the reaction! After several weeks of back and forth with the deadly grappling duo of George Othello and Surrey Slate, American luchador Leyenda de Ocho and Mexican luchador Misil came together and defeated their mutual enemies in tag team action to one of the loudest reactions of the night, including Ocho hitting a moonsault off the shoulders of the powerhouse Misil! Both men hit their respective finishing moves on Othello to win!

--After a disappointing loss to Leon Van Zandt, Nathan Cross left the arena, but was also seen chatting up Othello and Slate! What business do those three men have in common? Who knows!

--Former BRAZEN Champion and Unified Tag Team Champion, FLEX, made a shocking return to BRAZEN and took care of the whiny former Olympic swimmer Aury Phillips in less than a minute! FLEX said after the GC Universe dissolved, he has come back to BRAZEN to go after the BRAZEN Championship! He told Rowzilla that he was coming for the gold and that whenever he was ready for a fight, he was going to meet the Lord Paramount of Pectoral Perfection!

--Nick “Lotto” Otto stole a win from high-flying prodigy, Antonio Prince with the In For a Penny, In For a Pounding while his fellow Trust member, Tate Newell scored the biggest win of his young career beating former BRAZEN Champion Jack Halcyon! After the match, Halcyon and Prince spoke to one another and said they’d had enough of the Trust! They promised to get a group together to combat the former Lottery winner and his group! Nick Otto did an interview trying to be his usual “humble” self, thanking Prince for the match! After the show, Prince and Halcyon were seen with… Edgar? The Master of Puppets, who had defeated 1099 earlier in the night, seemed to be in agreement with something. What? We don’t know!

As usual, thanks for reading and check out all news, notes and recaps for all things BRAZEN here on defiancewrestling.com!
