The Title Talk

BRAZEN Championship: Former BRAZEN Champion, FLEX (fka Flex Kruger) had a heck of an evening! First, winning a triple threat match to earn a title match, then facing Rowzilla in the main event! He put the champion through his paces and almost wore him down following a Full Nelson submission, only for Rowzilla to fight his way free and break the hold! FLEX hit a big Flexecution spinebuster on the big man for a HUGE two-count, but Rowzilla hit the Super Giant Kick followed by Don’t Look Down to retain… only to be ATTACKED and left laying by Ryan Murdock, who was supposed to be suspended! Following two shots to the face from the BRAZEN Championship belt and two Route 202 big boots to the face, Ryan Murdock demanded a rematch after their previous match ended in a No Contest and Murdock was suspended for booting Capital Punishment in the face during the pull-apart brawl! BRAZEN Tag Team Titles: Tommy and Maggie Dasher aka The Dasher Sibs pulled it out AGAIN! Just like FLEX did, High Investigations earned a title match and made the most of the opportunity, even having some sentimental cheers from the people! However, tonight, it was not to be! When Cheno was preparing Sucks To Be You, the move was reversed by Tommy Dasher, who followed up with his signature rolling elbow, leading to the mouse trap pin from Maggie Dasher! The Dasher Sibs continue to find a way to win as underdog champions, but multiple tag teams have come out of the woodwork! Again, more on that below! 

BRAZEN Onslaught Champion: Once again, “The Hound” Aiden Harlow proves it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog! And he’s got that dog in him, too! So this man’s like… Dog-Squared! And he showed his doggedness keeping the title against former BRAZEN Tag Team Champion and BRAZEN player-coach “Big Slick” Derrick Huber! Huber is up there in years, but turned back the clock with a GREAT singles performance, almost getting the win with The Odds Are Against You, but the vet made a rare mistake allowing a foot on the ropes! Harlow would fight back with a tornado DDT off the ropes followed right into an oklahoma roll for the win! At almost 200 days, Harlow continues to be BRAZEN’s most fighting champion and shows no signs of slowing down! 

BRAZEN Women’s Championship: Duchess Vaughn put the title on the line against her rival, the young and powerful Ms. Massacre! Once more, they showed incredible chemistry in the ring and they BEAT THE STUFFING out of one another all over the ring, inside and out! Ms. Massacre almost became only the second woman ever after Ophelia Sykes to become the BRAZEN Women’s Champion with the Disembowl, Vaughn rolled out of the ring before she could get the fall! When Massacre tried to get her back in, Vaughn caught her with a desperation rope-hung DDT and went right to the Garrison Lock! The BRAZEN Faithful cheered her on, but she passed out from the pain! Duchess Vaughn has a strangehold on the gold and it would take a special star to take it from her! 

BRAZEN Star Cup: Butcher Victorious is quietly putting together a workhorse resume as he and Janna Ray were victorious on DEFtv over Titanes Familia’s Dan Leo James and Brooklynn Rivera! Then turned around to defend his title in NOLA just a couple days later over “Cunning” Curt Cunning! Cunning tried the old switcheroo with one of his other Curt Cunning members at ringside, but Janna Ray dimed him out to the referee and they were sent to the back! Butcher got the win late, scoring with the Mic Dropz Drop elbow to retain! No new challenger has stepped forward, but Butcher says he’ll keep things going until someone can best him for the Cup!

--Ryan Murdock was PISSED to the highest levels of PISSTIVITY! The former BRAZEN Onslaught Champion demanded a rematch against Rowzilla after their last title match ended in a no contest, but as noted earlier, Murdock was suspended and FLEX stepped in to challenge! After the match, Murdock made an unscheduled appearance and ATTACKED Rowzilla like nobody ever has before! The blue chipper laid him out and in a rare chance to speak, he said the company was protecting Rowzilla from him and he was sick of it! He said even if the company kept him away, he’d show up every week until he gets a rematch! DEFSec hauled away Murdock, but after the show, Rowzilla demanded Murdock in a rematch! When Cappy said that wasn’t gonna happen, Rowzilla left the venue and said he’d come back only when BRAZEN okayed the rematch! What a CRAZY situation! I’ll keep you update as soon as I hear back!

--Speaking of giants, an eager debut took place for one “Big Mad” Mads Larsen! The very same lawyer that has been namedropped by Southern Heritage Champion(s?) Uriel Cortez and Titaness made his debut in quick fashion, taking out Wild Logan Barry! Of note, he even used a spear called the Erroneous Conclusion in tribute to famous wrestling lawyer, LLB! When Larsen was interviewed, the Familia’s lawyer… or consigliere? Not sure what’s up there… but anyway, he told the interviewer BRAZEN was now his courtroom and only he could judge its stars! One to watch for sure! 

--TWO new teams formed! After being seen speaking with Nathan Cross, Cross finally snapped a losing streak and with help from “Not A Nice Fellow” George Othello and “The Dirty Great” Surrey Slate, Cross ended the undefeated streak of hot rising star, K-Tez! After the match, Nathan Cross declared himself “The Sauce” and solidified an alliance with Othello and Slate! Calling themselves Mad Rhymes, this trio has promised that they’re going for all the gold in BRAZEN!

--The other team was a super team that recently aligned after having run-ins with Mad Rhymes pre-stable name! Dubbed ¡SupaLuchas!, former BRAZEN Star Cup champion Leyenda de Ocho and the powerhouse luchador, Misil, formed a very effective combo! Now 2-0 in tag team action, ¡SupaLuchas! have promised that they too have their eyes on gold! 

--The battle between “One Shot” Jack Halcyon and The Nick Otto Trust escalated, but with mutual ally “The Fresh Prince of Big Air” Antonio Prince, the two defeated Otto and one of his hired muscles, “Young Bull’ Tate Newell! Both men were attacked by the entire Trust after the match, though! Telling everyone the issue is far from over! On the next Double Shot, a HUGE main event ten-man elimination match will take place between The Nick Otto Trust, Halcyon, Prince and any three allies they can get on their side!
