The Vossylvanian Viper speaks out against the Original Defiant

Posted by Lance Warner on 21 Jan 2013

At Retaliation, the Original DEFIANT, Bronson Box, tossed Justin Voss off the side of the stage and through some speakers seeing that the debuting Australian had to gain the attention of Defiance medical staff in his debut match.

EMTs rushed the scene but what the televised program didn't show as Voss pushing their assistance away.  Voss was seemingly adamant to leave the arena on his own two feet, despite the gash on his forehead that would later require eight stitches to sew the Vossylvanian Viper back together again.

The pair had exchanged heated words in the lead up to Retaliation's debut where both men made it clear they were happy to throw the rules out the window and let their fists do the talking.  Box made it clear he wanted Voss' debut in Defiance to be his last match and looked from the get go to insure his prophecy came to pass however Voss stood toe-to-toe with Bronson Box, never wanting to let up against the brutality of the former World Champion.

The match eventuated in a double count-out as the pair brawled up the ramp when Box managed to throw Voss from the stage and through a stack of speakers below, which were part of the arena's personal announce system.

After medical staff closed up the cut on his forehead I was able to get some heated words with a seething Justin Voss:

"If Bronson Box thinks that tossing me off the side of the stage is enough to make my pack my bags and leave he's got another thing coming.  If he thinks for one second... just ONE SECOND... that I'm going to let this slide and turn the other cheek he's got it ass backwards, brother.

"All I'm sayin' is lucky you're a praying man, Bronson, because you better pray your trained monkey and that two dollar hooker you've got danglin' off your left nut better be there to pull me off your carcass when I cave your face in.

"Bronson Box has NOT seen the last of Justin Voss.  Not by a long shot."

Fighting words shared we can only assume what the fallout of this will be come Defiance TV 33.  It's assured, by the words of Voss himself, that this will not slip by the wayside and there is defintely a storm brewing on the Defiance horizon between these two men.
