DEFIANCE Wrestling has prided itself on being ardent in the company's mission to adhere to the old school Southern style of professional wrestling, while also being on the cutting edge of the sport as it evolves. This means following trends that are gaining traction not only around the world, but also within its own talented roster of athletic fighters.
No one can argue the growing, worldwide influence of the Japanese "Strong Style." It’s a style that rewards the honor of pure, no-nonsense, fast-paced fighting for the sake of fighting. It's a style that is relentless in both its intensity and its purpose, which is to determine the strongest on any given night.
This is something that DEFIANCE Wrestling finds itself having an abundance of on its roster - all of whom are fighters who love nothing more than a good, old-fashioned brawl without the trademark flash and flair that pro wrestling is known for.
Fighting for the sake of fighting with a relentless onslaught of spirit and violence has been our since Eric Dane first opened the promotion’s doors. With that in mind, DEFIANCE Wrestling formally announces a special production titled CLASH OF THE DEFIANTS.
This event will take place in May and will be host to a one night, eight man, single elimination tournament to crown the first DEFIANT Onslaught Champion (or D.O.C. for short). There are a number of qualified contenders on the DEFIANCE roster, many more than the eight who will vie for the championship.
