We were given GPS coordinates and a date and time to meet them. So we loaded up our cameras into a jeep and headed for the high hills of Utah to the new pro wrestling training facility founded by former DEFIANCE World Heavyweight champion Bronson Box.

 

 

The several acres of land tucked away in the rocky Utah hills dubbed “The Conclave” was funded completely by “The Socialite” Edward White and his personal fortune. “A gift to my friend, a place for him to wile away the hours and pass on his unique brand of this grand sport to the next generation.” says White.

 

We pass over a cattle guard and roll through some overgrown brush for a good mile before it opened up on a large mowed lawn with an asphalt track running around the inside of a tall chain link fence. Looking more like a prison than a wrestling school. But when you consider the headmaster of this school all the theatrics make complete and perfect sense. This was the new home of The Wargod, Bronson Box. This is his church.

 

Once inside the compound the first thing you notice is that the number of students is rather low. Four to be exact. Out of nearly eighteen that were vetted The Wargod chose four men to train here in his secluded Bond villain style mountain fortress. A street tough and an established face on the Southern California indie wrestling scene “V Double” Valentino Vega, a giagantic rookie from the heart of the lone star state “Houston Strong” Felton Bigsby, bodybuilder and fitness model “American Muscle” Jorge De la Cruz, and the tattooed mystery man known only as Butcher Victorious. This is the inaugural class of The Conclave.

 

When asked about his freshly disbanded Moral Majority teammates and how they play into this new endeavor Boxer had very little to say “this project was a point of contention between Virginia and I. She won’t be participating in this exercise. Francis is around here though. Part trainer, part trainee, part crash test dummy. He’s a model employee.” Said with a sinister grin. “This is holy ground. A place of learning. People know their place inside these walls. We have order here.”
