Kelly Evans names the #1 Contender to the FIST of DEFIANCE

Kelly Evans has named a new #1 Contender! Details inside!

Big news coming out of the office of Kelly Evans this afternoon as Ms. Evans has released an official statement naming two time former FIST of DEFIANCE Dan Ryan as the new official #1 contender to the current FIST of DEFIANCE Eugene Dewey.

As you all know, Eugene Dewey has been on a historic run as the FIST of DEFIANCE and is in the midst of fighting off perhaps the most dangerous collection of opponents in the history of the FIST over the last six months or so. Now it seems he will be facing his old nemesis Dan Ryan at Ascension. Fans will remember the fantastic cage match between the two early on in Eugene Dewey’s reign during which Ryan was unable to regain the FIST. Since that time Eugene Dewey has gone nearly two years without losing the FIST.

We caught up with Dan Ryan via phone following the announcement.

“I had a good productive meeting with Kelly Evans at the show this past week and laid out my case, and I’m pleased to see that she’s made this decision obviously. I haven’t heard from him yet, but I’m entirely certain that Eugene is just as happy. I invited him out to the Red Lobster this evening for a celebratory dinner. He hasn’t responded yet, but I’m sure he’ll accept.”

The current FIST of DEFIANCE Eugene Dewey refused comment when we tried to reach him earlier this afternoon.
