Welcome back to my Blog, as you recall from a week ago, I said that this would be regular thing. Today I’d like to discuss the top match of the night from DEF TV 48, the outcome, and the potential of DEF*MAX Grand Prix being featured solely on CURTIS PENN’S Greatest Matches vol. 3 !
DEFIANCE TV 48 truly had a lot of great matches, but only one match stood out as Match of the AGES! Some have dubbed it The EGO vs The Ego Buster, Curtis Penn vs Dan Ryan, but I’d like to call it Greatness vs a Bag of Hot Air. Of course Dan Ryan is full of hot air.
Sitting here thinking about it… I like the Ego… I Think I like it a lot.
The match itself was brutal, it was physical, and of course it was chock full of GREATNESS! I had Dan Ryan dead to rights several times throughout the match, but things happened that I could not control, like my shoelaces coming untied, and I came out on the losing end. Did the better man win, Hell no! In fact I’m sure that Dan Ryan will not want to step into the ring with the master of the Curtis Clutch any time soon after I hit him with the Curtis Punch! Did the Ego Buster knock down the Ego at all by pinning him in the ring?
Not. One. Bit.
In fact this loss has only emboldened my fighting spirit and it has shown the WORLD that I will be the WINNER and CHAMPION of the DEF*MAX Grand Prix! Dan Ryan was the only guy in my Block that was close enough in skill and fortitude to have caused me any competition and he wouldn’t have even been that if the ref would have checked the level of baby oil he slicked himself down with prior to the match. The rest of the “DEFiants”: Frank Holiday, David Noble…psh… Samuel Tiberius Turner Tha Second, have no chance in DEFeating me, ME the Greatest Southern Heritage Champion of all TIME!
So my record might not be flawless leaving Block B and heading onto the victory stand at the end of the DEF*MAX Grand Prix, but in the end it will be Curtis Penn being named the DEF*MAX Grand Prix Champion and earning the Title: the greatest wrestler that DEFIANCE has ever witnessed. And all of Curtis Penn’s matches from DEF*MAX Grand Prix will be included as a bonus disc, as well as 6 in Curtis Penn Action Figure with the purchase of Curtis Penn Greatest Matches vol. 3 The Clutch Edition, only available at Best Buy, for the low low price of 35.00 dollars!
Frank Holiday, I heard you run your mouth at DEF TV: 48, you sorry sack of SHIT. I know you spouted the words and said that the prestige of the Southern Heritage Championship started with you, your time with the Southern Heritage Championship lasted about as long as a fart in a whirlwind. Deep down…in your heart of hearts you know that I am the one who snatched that title from despair, that I am the one who fought every NIGHT with that title on the line, and that I took on all challengers and held that title LONGER than everyone in Southern Heritage History! The only reason that I do not hold it today is because I saw a bigger fish to fry in Eugene Dewey!
But you’ll see come DEF TV: 49, after I whoop your ass, that you were just holding what was mine and that your buddy David Noble is doing just the same.
Frank, enjoy your time in the Sun, because in just a few short days I’m going to put your ass back in the DEFIANCE cellar and the DEFans will forget that you’ve ever existed.
In the meantime in between time, anybody wanna sign my cast?
