Ed White Shows Up In NOLA; Chaos In The French Quarter

The strange messy saga of Edward White’s latest sojourn continues, this time right at Defiance’s doorstep here in New Orleans. Last anyone heard from Ed White he was enjoying a European vacation with some business associates, the self made millionaire getting separated from his group in the Moroccan city of Tangier. It didn’t take White long to vacate the cobbled streets once walked by men like William S. Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac and make his way back across the Atlantic and touch down right here in DEF’s backyard.
WrestlePlex security was alerted by the silent alarm late last night, someone apparently having broken into Edward White’s office. When security arrived they found a… well, lets just say intoxicated… Ed White tossing files by the fistfull out of cabinets and downing a bottle of really really expensive Scotch right from the bottle. When the security guards told him his people had been looking for him White got more than a little belligerent. Ed proceeded to FIGHT the security guards, one man receiving Ed’s patented Stock Market Drop through a glass coffee table. The chaos was ironically caught on the state of the art security system Ed’s own money paid for.
Ed vacated the building shortly after that and headed for the French Quarter. At this point the rumor mill was flying hard and fast and several concerned parties were racing to rescue The Socialite from himself. Nicky Corozzo and a host of White’s personal security force were immediately winging their way towards their meal tick… I mean boss. On the other side of town however, the police had already been called by the assaulted WrestlePlex security guards… both of whom were former New Orleans police officers themselves. In a scene what was described as “pure chaos” by some and “utterly embarrassing” by others. Corozzo and White’s men had to relent as Ed was taken into police custody after a tense showdown at a local eatery where White was attempting to order a meal… the place was closed for the night. “I was cleaning up for the night, about to lock up when this huge bearded dude in a nasty stained white tuxedo came in and throw like, shit…like a thousand bucks at me and told me to bring him something to eat. When I told him we were closed he started screaming. He was about to trash the place, I swear to God.” said the proprietor of the local bistro.
As of this morning Ed still hasn’t been released from police custody. There’s now speculation he’s being held not in the drunk tank… but for something much bigger, something way beyond simple drunk and disorderly or even assault.
