We’re getting word today that following the assault of Lindsay Troy by “persons unknown” at DEFtv 41 (although this journalist would bet his paycheck in Vegas on who was behind it), the lady of the Big Damn Heroes has not only been prohibited from competing at DEFtv 42 but has been barred from the building entirely.
If you thought this edict came straight from Ed White’s mouth, however, you’d be very much mistaken.
White’s personal assistant, the self professed “New First Lady of DEFIANCE Wrestling,” Miss Jane Katze had this to say when I contacted his office for comment.
“We’re obviously all just devastated over the vicious assault of our dear Lindsay Troy. The mysterious assault of women backstage at our events is obviously not how we here at DEFIANCE Wrestling operate in any way, shape, or form. (Editorial note: HA!) You can rest assured that these despicable acts are being investigated as we speak. To show just how much we care about the well-being of our much valued talent, Mr. White has declared Lindsay Troy be ordered to stay home and recuperate. Call it a “paid vacation.” If she decides to ignore this directive and show up at the DEFArena, she will be barred from entering the facility and placed on an indefinite suspension. The issue is now closed. Thank you.”
When I reached out to Troy for her reaction to Jane’s presser, the Queen of the Ring simply said, “Oh, did she now?”
