Curtis Penn issues a petition to the Defiance Board…Eric Dane, Jeff Andrews, and Kelly Evans!
Here at PWI have just received an e-mail from an unknown source within the Defiance organization. We are all sure that you witnessed the meltdown from the Southern Heritage Champion after his near loss of his title and the DQ loss to Diego de Lion. It seems that Mr. Penn wasted no time firing off this email!
Defiance Front Office,
Tonight I have been dealt a great injustice in regards to the outcome of my Southern Heritage Championship Defense against Diego de Lion and the interference of Jonny Booya. The referee clearly made a decision prior to the match that Diego would defeat me and my Legendary Southern Heritage Championship run would come to an end. If you watched the match you can clearly see that his counts while I was pinned were a half count faster than those when I pinned Diego.
When the referee saw that my resilience was more than any normal wrestler in this organization he jumped at the opportunity to disqualify me and stain my over 5 month run of being the UNDEFEATED Southern Heritage Champion!
I demand that Mark Shields is sent back to refereeing school and teach him how to make a proper count and more importantly that my match with Diego de Lion be ruled a No Contest as the actions of Jonny Booya would not have benefited me in gaining a victory or ensuring a loss for Diego, as he surely would have lost only moments later in the match as I was strategizing when I saw Jonny Booya level Diego with a chair to the back.
Mr. Dane and Mr. Andrews both of you know the importance of legacies and I know that the two of you will rule in my favor to have this loss stricken from the record books.
