F4WOnline report caught up to Defiance Wrestler Curtis Penn to ask him about a few of his latest remarks.
Are you really going to keep the belt on Chance Von Crank?: Sure, why wouldn’t I? It’s a lot easier to make sure that the Southern Heritage Title stays with him than to help someone else win it. All he has to do is make it to the ring. I’ll do the rest.
How are you going to achieve your plan with the Ref’s new demands being met by Eric Dane, especially the two security guards at ring side? : Hmm… there has always been security at Defiance shows, mostly on the other side of the guard rails keeping the fans in check. Their security guards, flashlights not included. All I have to do is make sure a ref sees me and get the match disqualified. It is their job, by the way, to make sure their match is called fairly and right down the middle.
Have you ever laid your hands on a referee?: Honestly, no and I never would. I feel bad about beating on the ballerinas that Defiance hired as wrestlers. I’d never beat on someone that I’m not contracted to fight.
Finally, we’ve been dying to know about your loss to Heidi Christenson and how did it feel losing to her?:
She is an awesome athlete, a little off of her rocker, but I’m an equal opportunity fighter. She beat me because of my bone headed mistake. I can handle losing like that, now if she had beaten on me like I was Tom Sawyer or any of these other guys in the back I’d probably run back to Japan and beg the MSX to take me back.
What about the MSX, how are they fairing in Japan?: Don’t know, really I don’t. The last I heard was from ya’ll website saying that they were in Germany doing a tour over there.
