BRAZEN Presents: 3/3 and 3/4 Double Shot + WHOLE LOTTA NEWS!

It was a VERY newsworthy couple of days for BRAZEN’s Best and Brightest, but the biggest news coming out of the latest Double Shot at the BRAZEN Grapple-plex is what transpired following the conclusion of the BRAZEN Championship match between defending champion Nick “Lotto” Otto and the #1 Contender and Team HOSS leader, Angel Trinidad!
Trinidad and Team HOSS have been waging wars on two fronts - on the main roster with a fracture Titanes Familia as well as BRAZEN. Trinidad has harbored a grudge with DEFIANCE since he and Aleczander were once sent down to DEFIANCE's developmental for behavioral issues and has promised to win the title to shake things up. Did he do just that or did other events traspire?
FRIDAY, MARCH 3RD RESULTS
1. BRAZEN Star Cup: Nathan Cross © defeated “Cunning” Curt Cunning at 2-1 falls @ 15:00 Time Limit to retain the Cup!
2. Brooklyn Rivera defeated Private Eye Miss Y @ 3:56 with the Goodnight Kiss
3. Les Enfants Terribles (Kazuhiro Troy, Archer Silver and Killjoy) defeated The Barrio Boys (Cory Nunez, Hugo Gonzalez and Gerardo Vilallobos) @ 9:05 with the Kicky McGee Alpha (Gamengiri/superkick combo, Troy pins Hugo)
4. Bonita en Rosa defeated Liz Icarus @ 6:52 with the Floriciendo (running sunset flip double knee backbreaker)
5. The House (Adam Roebuck and Derrick Huber) and Kid Black Jack defeated OnlyFlips (Lee Laz and Kenny Yi) and Justin Sane @ 4:54 with Double Belly Buster on Justin Sane after OnlyFlips walked out on their partner
After everyone left, Justin Sane demanded a match against anyone in the back to prove he was quote, “the most hardcore-exclamation point-exclamation point-exclamation point-1-1-1-exclamation point ever.”

6. “The Problem Solver” Adrian Payne defeated Hurtlocker Holt @ 2:45 with the Stay Down (Falling Powerslam)
7. BIG Trouble (Big Kahuna Ali’i and “The Fresh Prince of Big Air” Antonio Prince) defeated Wild Logan Barry and Somchai @ 8:41 with the Big Air Cutter (double jump flying cutter, Prince pins Barry)
8. “Mellow Yellow” George Othello defeated Curtis Alexander Brown @ 15:05 via submission with The Yellowjacket (cross-legged triangle choke)
9. BRAZEN Tag Team Titles: BIG Trouble (BIGBOSS Batts and “Big Shot” Jack Halcyon) defeated Monster Mash (Count Novick and The Monster) @ 12:42 with the Sit and Go (frog splash, Halcyon pins Novick) to retain the titles!
SATURDAY, MARCH 4TH RESULTS
1. BRAZEN Onslaught Championship: Leon Van Zandt © defeated Franco Marchesi @ 10:11 via submission with the Sugar Hold (back mounted full nelson) to retain the title!
2. Jocylene Ingrid Blythe defeated Mess Hall Marsha @ 5:45 with the Death Valley Girl Driver

8. #1 Contenders Match, BRAZEN Championship: Leyenda de Ocho defeated Brayden W. Levrington and Gunther Adler @ 11:45 with the Actualizer (Ocho pins Adler)
9. BRAZEN Championship Match: Nick “Lotto” Otto (w/BRAGG) © fought Angel Trinidad (w/Aleczander The Great and Strong AF) to a No Contest @ 9:57 following interference by Titanes Familia (Uriel Cortez, Titaness and Minute)!
Due to recent events, this recap will go a little differently!
THE BREAKING NEWS
Things broke down in a MAJOR way following the conclusion of the BRAZEN Championship match between Nick “Lotto” Otto and Angel Trinidad! When Angel Trinidad was closing in on the title, it was Titanes Familia members Uriel Cortez, Titaness and Minute seemingly as a united front invading the show and attacking Team HOSS attacking TF member Dan Leo James on DEFtv 183 Night One! During the melee, DEFsec intervened at the behest of former Team HOSS member and BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment!
After DEFsec broke up the melee and Capital Punishment urged the Familia to go home, it was Minute of all people who ran back to the ring and delivered a low blow to Capital Punishment followed by the Minutiae (630 Splash)! The luchador has been seemingly lashing out at everyone and everything lately and as a result of their actions, Uriel Cortez and Titaness were fined an undisclosed sum of money.
Minute, however, was suspended indefinitely following the attack. While Capital Punishment is a former member of Team HOSS, the attack on the highly-respected veteran and BRAZEN Matchmaker was absolutely uncalled for and punishment was handed down to the members of the group just an hour before this report!
THE TITLE PICTURE
--While Nick “Lotto” Otto thought he was safe and was able to escape with both BRAGG and his BRAZEN Championship, he was informed that Leyenda De Ocho has called his shot and will be challenging for the BRAZEN Championship in April at the special DEFCONCON day show! The former BRAZEN Star Cup holder has promised to win the BRAZEN Championship one way or another and take it off the glad handing champion.
--The BRAZEN Onslaught Championship has been proudly defended by Leon Van Zandt since defeated the previous champion, FLAMBERGE! After a victory over Franco Marchesi, “Mellow Yellow” George Othello laid out a challenge to The Professional. LVZ has promised to defend anywhere, anytime against anyone and he will do so against the young Welshman! The title match will take place at the next Double Shot!
--BIG Trouble continues to be just that: big trouble for all comers to their BRAZEN Tag Team Championships! The champs have invoked what BIGBOSS Batts is calling BIGBOSS Rules for the belts, meaning any two members of the group can defend the titles. It was Monster Mash who came within an eyelash of winning the gold! Novick hit BIGBOSS Batts with a Graveyard Smash, but it was the young 18-year-old Antonio Prince who put Batts’ foot on the bottom rope before the three! Later on, a BIGBOSS Brains to Novick behind the ref’s back led to “Big Shot” Jack Halcyon’s Sit and Go Frog Splash to retain! But all was not over…
--... at the DEFCONCON day show, it will be the LET combination of Silver and Gold III (Archer Silver and Kazuhiro Troy) invoking their rematch clause against any two members of BIG Trouble for the BRAZEN Tag Team Titles! And on the next Double Shot, a special eight-man elimination tag team match will take place between the two teams with the winner getting to pick the stipulation for the special afternoon show in April! With BIG Trouble and Les Enfants Terrible wanting to end this months-long rivalry, both of the top groups of BRAZEN will finally have the chance to do so!
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Notice how these latest shows offered several women’s matches? That is because at the start of the Double Shot, BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment officially announced the creation of the BRAZEN Women’s Championship! While DEFIANCE has never shied away from intergender matches over its long tenure, a title dedicated to the hardworking women of BRAZEN has been created! With BRAZEN always keeping an eye on talented stars looking for their next big break, the title will be decided at a future one-night eight-women tournament to crown the inaugural champ!
