BRAZEN Presents: Wrestling, But It's Outside Double Shot! 6/17 and 6/18

A special Double Shot took place this past Friday and Saturday in Gulfport, Mississippi! A local college in the area loaned out the baseball diamond in conjunction with DEFIANCE, BRAZEN and Favoured Saints with all proceeds being matched and donations being made to NAMI. Two perfect sunny afternoons full of action from BRAZEN's Best and Brightest drew a thousand fans a piece! The BRAZEN show was peppered with some of DEFIANCE's best as well, making a few shock surprises!
All eyes were on NEW Rain City Ronin! They defended their titles not once, but TWICE with the goal of making it out of the weekend to guarantee they would be the longest-reigning BRAZEN Tag Team Champions! Did they do so, fresh after a defeat to Vae Victis on DEFtv? Check the results!

1. BRAZEN Star Cup: Kazuhiro Troy (c) and "Mellow Yellow" George Othello fought to a draw, 1-1 fall @ 15:00 time limit, Troy retains the Cup

THE TITLE PICTURE
--The NEW Rain City Ronin have done it! The fastest-rising Tag Team Champions made it through, not one, but TWO grueling defenses! First, surviving DEFIANCE legends Team HOSS on Friday followed by defeating old rivals Les Enfants Terribles as well as OnlyFlips to retain on Saturday! As of this writing, this gives the Rain City Ronin a clear path and will officially become the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in BRAZEN history!
--Declan “DEC4L” Alexander dropped a fall to the first-ever BRAZEN Champion Reinhardt Hoffman in a special Blockbuster BRAZEN/DEFIANCE Tag Team Match with “The Biggest Boy” Dex Joy and Oscar Burns as their respective partners, however, Declan evened the score against Hoffman the following night with a Play of the Day and successful retaining of the title! Once again, however, Declan was assaulted by the Olympic powerlifter Strong AF! He has officially challenged Declan Alexander for the next CLASH special on July 27th! The challenge has not been accepted as of this writing, pending a health check on the young Alexander, but rest assured we will have more on this once we hear back from medical staff!
--The reign of Onslaught Champion Michael Van Warren shows no signs of slowing down, however, “One Shot” Jack Halcyon has eyes on the title! Winning the title would make him the first man to hold all the singles titles in BRAZEN (BRAZEN Championship, BRAZEN Star Cup, Onslaught Title) but once again, Michael Van Warren laughed off his challenge. What will Jack Halcyon do to make the challenge happen?
--Kazuhiro Troy battled “Mellow Yellow” George Othello to a rare time limit draw! Kazuhiro Troy scored a fall a few minutes in with the Royal Treatment (double underhook piledriver), however Othello’s new Shining Triangle submission, The Yellow Jacket, was turned into a roll-up to pin the defending champion to even the score! Neither man was able to get a decisive advantage, so a special rematch will be held at the next Double Shot, this time with a 20 minute time limit! Will Troy find a way to shake off the young Welsh wunderkind or will Othello have an answer for Troy? And what of Archer Silver, who also has eyes on the title?
ONES TO WATCH
--Strong AF defeated former tag team partner and former Onslaught Champion BRAGG in singles action! The Gold medal powerlifter has really come into his own in the last several months and looks to be a major obstacle for Declan Alexander!
--Archer Silver racked up two big singles wins over the weekend. He has been involved fairly heavily in the business of Kazuhiro Troy. Should Kaz make it past George Othello, could we be looking at the first-ever LET/LET showdown?
--BIG Trouble continues to rack up wins! Shockingly, all was quiet on the front regarding the use of the Golden Opportunity Tag Team Gauntlet winners. BIGBOSS Batts has refused to answer questions as to when they will cash in. Until then, fans will have to wait when the trio of bruisers plan on making the most of their opportunity won at the last special!
--The Pop Culture Phenoms made a rare stop as well, defeating The Dunson Clan in eight-person tag team action! The former BRAZEN Champion, Klein, won the match for his team with Think Outside!
--The House and Kid Black Jack also prove to be a very formidable trio in their own right, defeating young Brayden W. Levrington and his paid heavies for the evening, Heavy Artillery!
--FLAMBERGE and Nathan Cross were both victorious in singles action, however, their issue is not done either. With one win a piece between the two, a rubber match is coming and could possibly have championship implications!
