The Title Picture
--Jack Halcyon is off to a strong start as the champion, defeated Ryan Batts, not once, but TWICE! First, at CLASH to win and now on the most recent Double Shot! Declan Alexander wanted to make good on his "Golden Opportunity" Rumble win and did so on Night Two... more on that later!
--We have a NEW Onslaught Champion! The title returned to Michael Van Warren in a BRUTAL Last Man Standing match over "Big Aug" August Lazar after coming up short at the CLASH! MvW now holds the record with the title as its longest holder as well as the only two-time holder! Van Warren used two Zodiac Spears and the Limit Breaker choke to keep him down for the ten-count and the title! August Lazar eventually left under his own power, but was met backstage by the former BRAZEN Champion Ryan Batts as well as Luke Ali'i (again, more on that later).
--The NEW Rain City Ronin defeated a different combination of The DEFcepticons after they won on the CLASH Pre-Show! No new challengers stepped up yet, but Daymon and Burnett are firing on all cylinders right now, waiting for someone to step up!
--Leyenda de Ocho's maiden voyage as the BRAZEN Star Cup is off to a good start, turning back Brayden W. Levrington
two falls to one to retain the Cup! Brayden won fall one with a Autograph neckbreaker, but Ocho used a la majistral to even the score before the Actualizer corkscrew quebrada got the second fall before time ran out!
The Ones To Watch
--Say it ain't so! Ryan Batts, for the first time ever in DEFIANCE, crossed over to the dark side and it appears he isn’t alone! The thirteen-year vet was angry he lost the BRAZEN Championship as well as a rematch to put him out of contention, but that did not stop him from wreaking havoc and ruining the Halcyon/Alexander title match on Night Two with help from "Big Aug" August Lazar and the newly named "Big Kahuna" Luke Ali'i! Now dubbing him as BRAZEN's Big Boss... now demanding to be called BIGBOSS Batts! Batts and his group Big Trouble are going to roll over BRAZEN!
--Several newcomers made a huge impact! The Earthbound-obsessed Jeff Ness scored two wins, along with the mysterious Frenchman, FLAMBERGE! The latter in particular made quick work of his opponents using leverage takedowns and his guillotine choke dubbed "Marie Antoinette!" The dark luchador Black Metal was victorious over BRAZEN OG Mascara de Muerte IV!
--Nathan Cross ALMOST won the Golden Opportunity Rumble, but scored the win in an eight-man tag on Night One and fought a surprise Dex Joy on Night Two! Nathan also impressed against Oscar Burns on a recent UNCUT. The sky literally appears to be the limit for the young man!
--Brayden W. Levrington also represented himself very well coming off the same Golden Opportunity Rumble showing, almost taking the BRAZEN Star Cup, but also winning on Night Two to bounce back!
--BRAGG went make excuses... he wants the Onslaught Title back that he was never pinned for and says he's coming for mVw first chance he gets!
--Customer Support are coming for the BRAZEN Tag Titles and won a triple threat tag match! Manning and Kinsberg are hinting at making a play for the belts sooner than later!
--LET, perhaps BRAZEN's most successful stable, have run afoul of BRAZEN OG kingpins the Viking War Cult! The longest reigning holders of the defunct World Trios Titles stated they attacked the foursome and are now looking to recement themselves as the top of BRAZEN!
Stay tuned for these developments and more as we inch ever closer to the post-DEFCON CLASH of the BRAZEN in April! Because of what happened on Night Two, BRAZEN Matchmaker Capital Punishment has stated that he will honor Alexander's main event title shot for the CLASH! But with Big Trouble now lurking, can they be stopped?
