Jason Natas To Run The BRAZEN Gauntlet

Posted by Lance Warner on 19 Oct 2016

Jason Natas successfully defended his DEFIANCE Onslaught Championship against Frank Dylan James at MAXIMUM DEFIANCE. The win brought The Anti-Superstar’s win streak to an impressive five-in-a-row, but a multitude of concerns have been raised over the DOC division’s future. A slew of roster departures have left the division drastically short of numbers, and with Natas, FDJ, Bronson Box, and Andy Murray being the only active wrestlers who fit the DOC mold, competition looked thin on the ground.

Fortunately, Angus Skaaland has the answer.

DEF’s beloved colour commentator has become increasingly vocal in his support of Natas, and it’s understood that the duo bonded over a few (read: a lot of) beers after MAXIMUM DEFIANCE. Angus, who is also BRAZEN’s head booker, had the solution: the forthcoming arc will see Natas attempt to defend his DOC belt against a variety of BRAZEN challengers every week, leading to a big match at the forthcoming Acts of DEFIANCE PPV.

The first defence has already been announced. Natas will face Harry Rose of The Guns of Brixton for the DEFIANCE Onslaught Championship at DEFtv 73, with the roughneck London brawler out to make a name for himself against The Faithful’s cult hero.

There’s no news on who Natas will face on the arc’s remaining shows, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we find out.

TALKING DEF

"I thought the dude who played Huggy Bear in Starsky and Hutch was long gone, lost to the ether as another casualty of gimmicky 70s television. But you gave him a part to play in your promo for a World Championship match, and as they say, any publicity is good publicity."
