Aftershock: Status of Dusty Griffith

Posted by Lance Warner on 4 Apr 2015

Nobody has seen or heard from the former World Heavyweight Champion since Aftershock... Hit the jump to find out more.

In the wake of the savage beating he took from EUGENE DEWEY and BRONSON BOX at the end of AFTERSHOCK: The Revival, nobody has seen or heard from DUSTY GRIFFITH. The last anyone knows is that he was carted out after taking the dreaded Bombasto Bomb on the unprotected turnbuckle, the same move that ended the career of Evan Hurley, leaving him crippled.

What I have found out is, Griffith was taken to the hospital with a confirmed injury to his notoriously bad shoulder, due to the jarring impact on his back and shoulders. Doctors fear he may have a neck or spinal injury, but are optomistic he avoided a similar fate as Hurley. That said, they're keeping him sedated for further observation until they're positive he's clear of any major and permanent damage.

More to come when updates become available.
