Just announced for DEFTV #47, David Noble will have to compete in a warm-up match for his title shot at the upcoming DEFIANCE PPV, AfterShock! The fact that David is in a match is not surprising as he has been a staple on most shows since his debut, but it is moreso about who he is facing.
In a message passed along to me, and I am paraphrasing, Kelly Evans informed David earlier today that he would have to face his very own love interest Mary-Lynn Mayweather at the upcoming show! As Kelly Evans put it herself, "Why the fuck not?"
We were able to catch up with David for a brief moment before the show and he had this quote to share.
"It's fucked up, but that's wrestling. Mary-Lynn on the other hand is excited and has told me that she's going to kick my ass. This is going to do wonders for my confidence, I'm sure."
