[Lance Warner is backstage immediately following Grindhouse 12, where Dan Ryan is stalking back and forth, fuming over the end of the main event.]

 

Warner:

Mr. Ryan, if I could get a second of your time, I'd like to...

 

Ryan: [Stopping abruptly and snatching the microphone out of Warner's hand]

SHUT UP!!! You want some thoughts from me, Lance Warner?? It just so happens I'm full of thoughts right now. I'm full of thoughts on Eugene Dewey and his little march to respectability. What? You think running up to me during a main event match like you did makes you a man, son? You think you can jump up and interfere with my business and make some kinda statement at MY expense??

 

[Ryan runs a hand through his hair and takes a breath, closing his eyes for a moment.]

 

Ryan:

This does nothing for you...[mockingly]...Eugeeeeeene! You hear me?? NOTHING. Your whole life you've been the meek, helpless nobody who wanted to avoid confrontation. Now you're a big shot. Now you're so brave. Now all of sudden you've got the balls to get your hands dirty. NO. You're same half-witted twerp nobody pile of crap you always were and if you think...

 

[Ryan shoves Warner away and closes in on the camera, barely audible in an intense whisper.]

 

Ryan:

...for one second that your actions tonight will accomplish anything more than a beating even more severe than the one you already had coming to you, you are one dumb as bricks nerdy ass motherfucker. 

 

[Ryan grabs the camera and shoves the cameraman back, resulting in the shot shaking as he takes control of it himself and holds it to his own face.]

 

Ryan:

If you thought I was ruthless before, Eugene Dewey... in the steel cage.... oh.... in the cage, I'm gonna change your life.

 

[Ryan tosses the camera away, screaming in a rage, leaving pointing up at the ceiling as Warner and the camera man scramble to get to it and out of the room...
