Defiance front office speaks on the Virginia Quell situation and more

And speaking personally, I couldn't believe it when I heard which office member it was.

Jeff Andrews.

Seriously.

The King of the Bittermen made his first official appearance since losing the Defiance World Title, and he made it by walking in the front doors like he had every right to be there. It was reminiscent of the early days of DEF 2.0 when he fired Bronson Box, actually.

He was there to deal with the Virginia Quell situation.  Minimize the fallout.  Here's what he had to say.

"I've just spent the last month dealing with legal fallout from the Charlene Von Crank situation in Japan.  The last thing Defiance needs is more bad press when wrestlers like Box and Ryan brag - nay, gloat - over leaving Virginia Quell injured and without any sort of support."

"That's why I am announcing that Defiance will be footing the entire bill for Ms. Quell's therapy and rehabilitation.  To help cover the expense, the salaries of Bronson Box and Dan Ryan will be garnished as I see fit.  If Dan Ryan doesn't like it, I recommend bawling to Ivy McGuiness.  If Bronson Box doesn't like it, he can fuck straight off. It's either garnished salaries or full scale legal charges."

Wow.

Although nobody argued with Andrews at the time, Eric Dane was immediately contacted and asked if Andrews could do that.  Dane's response?  "I didn't know that he could, but clearly he just did."

Looks like it's going to stick.  Unless Edward White decides to bring lawyers into this.

Oh, the Charlene Von Crank thing? Apparently at the time the Japanese authorities thought it was just a 'skit' for a wrestling show.  Then Charlene was arrested in a prostitution sting, and it turned out her passport had expired, leaving her  without authorization to be in Japan in the first place. Due to the circumstances, charges were dropped against her and she was extradited back to the States.  At CVC's expense, no less.

TALKING DEF

"[Cayle Murray] was such a spirited do-gooder before all this. Do you think they put up one of those 5G towers near his home in Scotland and that’s how Mikey & Co. are able to implement mind control?"
