Bonus Scene - Blood Diamond Problems
Posted by Lance Warner on 25 Nov 2013
Was Sam Turner Jr. the only one who wanted to come Dusty Griffith's aid during the main event?
BACKSTAGE SCENE FROM GRINDHOUSE: JAPAN
starring - Frank Dylan James, Bronson Box, Edward White
[While chaos erupts during the main event, Kai Scott’s Totally Untouchables begin to use their numbers against Dusty Griffith with the sudden and surprise help of Chance Von Crank.]
[Behind the curtain, a different kind of monster lurks with a strong desire to rush the ring to help his old friend. And no. This is not in reference to Sam Turner Jr. Who coincidentally has just rushed past the subject of this little diddy, is none other than the Mastodon, the chain wielding, redneck from the hills of West Virginia… Frank Dylan James.]
[Pulling at the chain around his neck, ol’ Frank struggles with the moral and immoral implications of his situation. On one hand, he wants to help his old friend, Dusty. On the other. There is the Blood Diamond problem, namely the cruel taskmaster who yanks his chain, Bronson Box along with Edward White, who holds Frank’s family home hostage.]
“Francis.”
[Speaking of which.]
[Box and White join this scene. Boxer’s head is heavily bandaged, having been mauled with broken glass by way of Dan Ryan’s fists during their Tai Pei Deathmatch earlier in the night.]
[Frank’s head dips, the mere sound of Bronson’s voice yanking the Mastodon’s chain, bringing him back to heel like a good a dog. Frank briefly looks their way and then sulks away. Box and White remain, they watch the chaos ensuing in and around the ring as Sam Turner and Dusty Griffith begin to turn the tide on the TUT’s, while Kai Scott looks from on high with a smile.]
Edward White:
This Griffith fellow.
Bronson Box:
Aye.
White:
He’s going to require something to be done about him.
Box: [nodding]
Aye, that he will.
[Cut.]
