Defiance TV 39 Sold Out, On-Site Viewing Stations Added

Posted by Lance Warner on 28 Jul 2013

According to Ticketmaster records, Defiance TV 39 sold out within five minutes of Eric Dane's announcement on Defiance TV 38 that Python and Heidi would square off this coming week in Baltimore.

Defiance TV 39 brings the company to 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, AKA the former home base of Old Line Wrestling (OLW) before they closed their doors in 2008. Upon seeing a potential brawl brewing between two of the biggest names to ever come out of OLW, Eric Dane wisely booked Python and Heidi in a co-main event match in their former home arena.

The show proceeded to sell out at such a break-neck speed that additional tickets were immediately released for official viewing stations that will be set up around the perimeter of the arena. The stations will include local bars and restaurants as well as large VIP tents provided by Defiance specifically for the event. These endorsed stations will feature televised streaming of the event, exclusive signings and meet and greets with select Defiance staff and superstars, food and drink specials, and exclusive access to limited edition Old Line Wrestling merchandise printed just for the night.

Although finances are booming in the wake of this event, there is growing concern that such an explosive show couldn't have happened at a more dangerous time. The company's referees are on strike and their security personel has already proven to be short-handed. What will happen when the turmoiling company comes to one of the rowdiest stages in wrestling with one of the most anticipated grudge matches in recent history? Only time will tell!
