[Eric Dane's Office.]

 

[Part Deux.]

 

[Da Baws is looking over various papers strewn about his desk when he's once again rudely interrupted by another unannounced vistor.]

 

[Blackimus Prime.]

 

TY:

"Sup, nigga?"

 

[Dane looks up as Tyrone Walker barges in and takes up residence in a seat across from him. Eric waits for him to get settled in and then completely blows right past the pleasantries.]

 

DANE:

"You said you wanted to talk. So, talk."

 

[Ty's brow flinches up ever so slightly.]

 

TY:

"Dag, son. Right to business, eh?"

 

[Not a sound, not even a twitch comes from The Only Star. In fact he goes right back to perusing the paperwork in front of him.]

 

TY:

"Right... right on then. So listen, I know what I said before, that UNTOUCHABLE would be a one time thing 'cause, eh, you know."

 

DANE:

"No actually, what do I know?"

 

TY:

"You asked me, dude. Team Danger didn't win, but you did or DEFIANCE did, either way, you know?"

 

[Dane sets the papers aside and turns his full attention towards Walker.]

 

DANE:

"So is that what this is, a Team Danger thing? Because I'm neither interested nor have a need for that guy. That guy sucks, he's disinterested, unmotivated, and doesn't have an ounce of fuck to give to this place if doesn't have anything to do with Team Danger. I don't need any of that bullshit in my company."

 

[Ty reels back in his seat as he brings his hands up with a stunned look upon his face.]

 

TY:

"Whoah... Whoah, horse."

 

[Dane's expression remains, stone like with those cold blue eyes staring a hole through his friend.]

 

TY:

"The hell was that, dude?"

 

DANE:

"Some shit you've been past due on needing to hear."

 

TY:

"Dag, just a cut a nigga right down to the bone. I mean, all that shit you just said was true, but dag, man. You been holdin' on to that evil for a long time."

 

DANE:

"I have."

 

TY:

"Look dude, I get all that. I expected to go through the motions, to get cut up and kick niggas in the face and then be ready to bounce on back home as soon as the after-party ended. What I didn't expect was to show up and feel alive again, to actually have fun doing all of this in a way that I hadn't for years before I bailed. Basically it's like I said the other night, I want to be here, not for Team Danger, just for me, just for the hell of it if nothing else and to see what I have left to give this thing. I'm ready, I'm willing, I'm able...enough, but give me some time to get this muthafucka rollin' and I'll ride this thing out until the wheels fall off."

 

[Ty exhales. His eyes staring back at those of his friend and potential boss.]

 

TY:

"Seriously, I'm here now. Just... Just give me a chance, Dee."

 

[Dane's expression and tone softens. Well, softens as much as Eric Dane could or would ever allow.]

 

DANE:

"The thing is, Ty, you sold me when you didn't get up and walk out the door after I gave it to you straight. Which is exactly what you did when this place was just getting started and I had this same talk with you then."

 

TY:

"Words, nigga. So do I gotta job?"

 

DANE:

"You got a job, ya honky fuck."

 

[Ty's face contorts with an ear to ear grin as he leans over to bump fists with the man who is one of his long time homies and once again, his boss. After Dane reciprocates, Ty gets up and makes for the door but, before he exits he pauses and looks back at Dane.]

 

TY:

"Eh, far be it for me to over step my new boundaries, but I got these friends and they're also lookin' for a job..."

 

[Dane smirks, he always knew there would be a catch. Now it's a just a matter of what this one entails.]
